full length bio
Alex Schofield is a Nashville-based Country/Rock recording artist whose gritty, hard-edged heartland sound blends soulful storytelling with blue-collar Midwestern roots. His music resonates with fans who crave both honesty and energy, making him a memorable act on any stage.
Schofield’s path has been fueled by relentless drive—from a 28-state solo van tour that cemented his place as a rising voice, to opening for legendary artists like Travis Tritt, Chris Cagle, Drake White, and Kin Faux. In 2022, he signed his first publishing deal with Morgan Music Group under CMA award-winning songwriter Dennis Morgan, and his songs have reached over 50,000 listeners through features on Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist.
Back home, his connection with fans runs deep. For three years, he’s hosted a hometown show in St. Charles, MI, drawing more than 800 loyal fans and over two dozen local sponsors.
With releases like the anthemic “‘Til The Wheels Fall Off” and the heartfelt “People Need People,” Schofield showcases both the grit and honesty that define his artistry. His latest EP, Live at 1910 Sip House, captures that spirit in its purest form — recorded on a winter evening in Battle Lake, Minnesota, it distills the raw emotion, storytelling, and connection that drive every one of his performances.
Now based in Nashville, Schofield continues to write, collaborate, and push his boundaries — channeling the heart and truth of Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Bob Seger, and Eric Church while forging a voice unmistakably his own.
